Description:
This latest generation of industrial plugs, connector and socket outlets extends and completes the compressive range of Purple Horns plugs and sockets. Completely new and internationally patented technical and constructional features have been added to the Purple Horn Series.
These features are of course joined to high quality functional characteristics, reliability, safety and a long life in even the most exacting operating conditions.
Using UKS Series plugs and sockets is therefore, highly recommended wherever the electrical contractor considers quick and easy cabling and frequent inspection of the contacts to be very important factors in the installation work.

Classification:
Industrial Plugs are available in P+N+E (unbalanced single phase with neutral), 2P+E (balanced single phase), 3P+E (3 phase without neutral), and 3P+N+E (three phase with neutral).
Current ratings available are 16A, 32A, 63A, 125A, 250A, 420A
Voltage and other characteristics are represented by a color code (in three-phase plugs the stated voltage is the phase-phase voltage, not the phase-neutral voltage). The different voltages have the earth pin of a larger diameter than the others, and located in different places depending on the voltage rating, making it impossible to mate.
